330 Gallon IBC tanks are commonly selected for use as modern drum-pallet replacement containers by providing increased tank capacity within equivalent space. In IBCs, only Megatainer, Voyager XL, and Stainless and Carbon Steel totes have volumes greater than 330 gallons. IBC Tanks offers American made 330 gallon IBCs designed for 1.9 specific gravity fluids, with a single 1.35 SG Excalibur model offered. Our 330 gallon IBCs are engineered and manufactured in the USA according to standard governmental industry standards.
All 330 gallon IBC totes are manufactured to ANSI / NSF 61 requirements from BPA free, FDA food grade certified virgin high density polyethylene (HDPE) resin. These IBCs are approved for potable water and labeled consumables, excluding reconditioned caged IBC totes due to their prior us. Modern IBC manufacture includes ultraviolet inhibitors to protect the HDPE from sunlight degradation, making them suitable for extended outdoor use.
These IBCs are engineered according to Title 49 CFR for the handling of hazardous and non-hazardous Packing Group II and Packing Group III materials. They are DOT / UN certified and labeled UN31HA/Y or UN31H1/Y. These specifications make our 330 gallon IBCs approved for the domestic and offshore handling, storing, and transport of numerous industry materials.
330 gallon IBC totes are manufactured from quality HDPE, which makes them resistant to impact, punctures, rust, and the corrosive effects of many chemicals, caustics and acids. HDPE IBCs are closed head, seamless containers that provide a sealed environment against heat, water, or air, promoting long term stability in storage, handling, and shipping for potentially sensitive commodities.
330 gallon capacity intermediate bulk containers offer significant product volume space within convenient, standard pallet dimensions. These IBCs are equal to six 55 gallon drum totes, and are easier to use, integrate for bulk quantities, store, stack, and ship, and all but caged IBCs provide long term reusability and hold the potential to conduct hundreds of successful transports. The reusability and lifespan of large capacity 330 gallon IBCs makes them highly effective cost-to-service life assets.
The engineering of 330 gallon totes is designed to maximize the efficiency of the container size, weight, and volume. The cubical, HDPE, and integrated pallet design provides the maximum amount of durable, resistant storage in the most accommodating shape for tank organization and maneuverability. All IBCs are stackable up to three high if empty, two high if carrying cargo.
