330 Gallon IBC Totes

330 Gallon Intermediate Bulk Containers

330 Gallon IBC tanks are commonly selected to replace drum-pallets as they can provide a greater cargo capacity within an equivalent space. IBC Tanks offers American made 330 gallon IBCs designed for 1.9 specific gravity fluids, with a single 1.35 SG Excalibur model offered. Our 330 gallon IBCs are engineered and manufactured in the USA according to government and industry standards.

330 Gallon IBC Manufacturing

All 330 gallon IBC totes are manufactured from BPA free, FDA food grade certified virgin high density polyethylene (HDPE) resin and certified to ANSI / NSF Standard 61 requirements. The IBCs are approved for potable water and high purity commodities. This excludes reconditioned caged IBC totes due to their prior use. Modern IBC manufacture includes ultraviolet inhibitors compound-fabricated into the base polyethylene material to protect the IBC’s plastic from sunlight degradation, making them suitable for extended outdoor use.

Design Characteristics and Advantages

These IBCs are engineered according to Title 49 CFR for the handling of non-hazardous and hazardous Packing Group II and Packing Group III materials. They are DOT / UN certified and labeled UN 31HA1/Y, UN 31H1/Y, UN 31H2/Y. These specifications make our 330 gallon IBCs approved for the domestic and offshore handling, storage, and transport of numerous industry materials.

330 gallon IBC totes are manufactured from quality HDPE, which makes them resistant to impact, punctures, rust, and the corrosive effects of many chemicals, caustics and acids. HDPE IBCs are closed head, seamless containers that provide a sealed environment against heat, water, or air, promoting long term stability in storage, handling, and shipping for potentially sensitive commodities.

330 Gallon IBC Handling and Transport Engineering

330 gallon capacity intermediate bulk containers offer significant product volume space while maintaining the convenience of standard pallet dimensions. 330 gallon IBCs are equal to six 55 gallon drum totes, and are easier to use, integrate for direct applications, use in gravity feeding, store, stack, and ship. All but caged IBCs provide long term reusability and hold the potential to provide hundreds of successful transport trips, improving long-term company overhead. The reusability and lifespan of large capacity 330 gallon IBCs makes them highly effective assets with an attractive cost-to-service life.

The engineering of a 330 gallon tote is designed to maximize the efficiency of the container size, weight, and volume. The cubical shape, HDPE construction, and integrated pallet design provides the maximum amount of durable, resistant storage in the most accommodating shape for tank organization and maneuverability. All IBCs are stackable. Total stacking is dependent on IBC type, total weight, and general safety.
